Dear Brothers and sisters,

It is with deep sorrow and regret that we must inform you of the funeral arrangements for NYPD P.O. Jonathan Diller, who was shot and killed in the line of duty this past Monday in the confines of the 101 Precinct. Please keep P.O. Diller's wife and young son, as well as his Blue Family in your thoughts and prayers at this very difficult time.

It goes without saying that the perp that killed P.O. Diller should not have been out on the streets due to his lengthy criminal record and recent arrest for illegal firearms possession. It is high time that we hold the reckless politicians responsible that voted for 'criminal justice reform" in Albany and have led the anti-police movement throughout this once great state and country. These politicians have P.O. Diller's blood on their hands, as well as that of countless civilians that have become victims of their so-called criminal justice reform. We must hold these inept politicians accountable and replace them with honorable individuals that support law enforcement and will put an end to this insanity.

Fraternally,

Mike McGinn

Welcome to the Jason Conklin Memorial Lodge 957 Website.
This site is dedicated to our brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice.

The central mission of our Lodge is to ensure that the fallen officers of the Orange County law enforcement community are never forgotten. To further this goal, our Lodge has erected and dedicated two memorial walls at the entrance of the County Courthouse that list the names of the 28 members of the Orange County law enforcement community that have died in the line of duty. We are also dedicated to honoring the families and loved ones of these fallen heroes for their sacrifice, dignity and courage. To honor and recognize these very special people, we hold the Orange County Law Enforcement Memorial Service every year on the first Friday in May to coincide with the start of National Police Week.  Our other main objectives are to promote fraternal, social and charitable events among the law enforcement community, and foster good relations between all members of law enforcement. We also advocate on the behalf of our members using the legislative and political process.

We also intend:

  • to support and defend the Constitution of the United States

  • to inculcate loyalty and allegiance to the United States of America

  • to promote and foster the enforcement of law and order

  • to improve the individual and collective proficiency of our members in the performance of their duties

  • to encourage fraternal, educational, charitable and social activities amongst law enforcement officers

  • to advocate and strive for uniform application of the civil service merit system for appointment and promotion

  • to support the improvement of the standard of living and working conditions of the law enforcement profession through every legal and ethical means available

  • to create and maintain tradition of esprit de corps insuring fidelity to duty under all conditions and circumstances

  • to cultivate a spirit of fraternalism and mutual helpfulness among our members and the people we serve

  • to increase the efficiency of the law enforcement profession and thus more firmly to establish the confidence of the public in the service dedicated to the protection of life and property.
